Professor Ahmed Al Tayyeb The Grand Sheikh of Al Azhar and The Head of Moslem Council of Elders will deliver a historic address tomorrow in The World Conference on “Freedm and Citizenship.. Diversification and Integration” with the participation of delegations from more than 50 countries.
The global gathering is organized by Al Azhar under the auspises of Abd Elfattah Al Sisi President of Egypt among a huge global, international and Arabic interest and presence.
It will be attended by Tawadros II The Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, heads of the Eastern Churches, Ulamas, clergymen, scholars, intellectuals and public opinion leaders of the learned Moslems and Christians along with their elite civic dignitaries. They will discuss and delibrate the problems of citizenship, freedoms, and social and cultural diversification.
The participants of the conference will also exchange views on the global and oriental dimensions, questions and challenges of the Arab Moslem-Christian exiperiment that deal with the common and diversified way of life. Moreover, they will discover the renewable potentials of the present and future and will work together to think in a collctive and equal way whithin which all people live in a climate of freedom, responsibility, free affiliation, basic rights and a promising vision of the future.
The two-day conference lasts from February 28 through 1st March 2017. At the end it will issue “Al Azhar Declaration of the Moslem-Christian common existence” that stipulates to live together within citizenship freedom and diversification which will be the slogan message Al Azhar and The Moslem Council of Elders will deliver to heads of the Eastern Churches, Ulamas, clergymen, scholars, intellectuals and public opinion leaders of the learned Moslems and Christians along with their elite civic dignitaries and their decision-makers allover the world.
