STAFF TRAINING
We follow a similar professional development programme to the British Council. Our staff are highly trained using the most recent educational strategies. Prior to the job, our teachers undergo an intensive training programme in which they learn about language and background to language learning and teaching; lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching; and, managing the teaching and learning process. As soon as they start the job, they are involved in an in-service mentoring programme in which they are observed by more experienced teachers; and given advice on teaching. Additionally, all newly-qualified members attend a weekly training programme for 1 year in order to boost their pedagogical knowledge and skills.
Junior teachers who successfully graduate from the mentoring programme are given further training to take a senior teacher role as they can cab observe and mentor new colleagues.
Teacher who are interested in teacher training receive an intensive ToT programme to prepare them for this role.
Trainers who wish to join the management team can apply in order to have a from-teacher-to-manager course and shadow the academic management team duties and responsibilities.
