General English

The General English Programme is a communicative syllabus in which students are given training on listening, reading, writing and speaking. The programme is based on the CEFR, i.e., Common European Framework of Reference which demonstrates language abilities in a range of levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. The purpose of this programme is to give learners a variety of language skills that enables them understand and generate authentic language needed for communication and further studies.

 

English for Religious Purposes

Also known as ERP. This is a course developed by the teaching staff in order to prepare our learners, who are the future ambassadors of Islam and Al Azhar University, for communicating Islamic culture in English. The course enables students to engage in conversations about religion, introduce their faith, understand other points of view, handle debates and function properly in an online setting.

 

Extra-Curricular Programme

The Extra-Curricular Programme is an additional optional programme that provides added value to our students. We offer courses such as writing, conversation and pronunciation; competitions like legal debate and spelling bee; field courses and visits such as mosque tours and El-Sehimi and inviting native speakers to present at our conference room
