“Islam’s Care for Children”, a new symposium at Al-Azhar Mosque

     On Monday, September 30, 2019, Al-Azhari Ruwāq (Class Court) holds a new symposium to discuss “Islam’s Care for Children”, following the Maghreb (Sunset) prayer in the Ottoman Pavilion inside the mosque.

     Lectures of the symposium are presented by Prof. Abdel Mun‛im Fu’ād, Professor of Creed and Philosophy, General Supervisor of Al-Azhari Ruwāq, Prof. Ibrahim Al-Hudhud, Professor of Rhetoric, Faculty of Arabic Language, former President of Al-Azhar University, and Prof. ‛Abdul Fattāḥ El-‛Awwāri, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Theology in Cairo, and Prof. ‛Aṭṭiya As-Sunbāṭi, Dean of the Faculty of Post-Graduate Studies, Al-Azhar University.

     Such symposiums come within the framework of the orientation and societal role played by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to serve the society, raise awareness and promote moderate thought.
