Sheikh Ṣaliḥ said that the curricula of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif represent the efficient way to confront the false and extremist ideas that have conquered the world by extremist and terrorist groups. Al-Azhar plays a major role in promoting the right image of Islam at home and abroad. This is done through its envoys and alumni all over the world, receiving students from more than a hundred countries, and training imams and preachers. He stressed Al-Azhar's keenness to support the bonds of relationships between Al-Azhar and Singapore.

On their part, the members of the delegation highlighted their endeavor to raise the levels of cooperation with Al-Azhar in order to benefit from the experience of Al-Azhar in the fields of education and Islamic missionary. They also stressed that Al-Azhar graduates in Singapore represent a source of light for the Singaporean society and that people consider them barriers of sound and moderate thought. There, they often play a big role in promoting tolerance among the followers of different religions, and hold prominent positions. He pointed out that Muslims in Singapore have established The Religious Harmony Center (RHC) in 2007, in order to promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence. The RHC plays an important role in establishing the values of integration in Singapore.
