The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity calls on the whole world to pray...
Under the Auspices of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), May 14 an International Day of Prayers for Warding off the Coronavirus Pandemic

HCHF calls on the whole world to pray for warding off the Coronavirus Pandemic

Amidst the world sufferings because of the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) sent an international call for all people regardless of their language, color, or religion. Each person in his own place, according to his own religion or faith, should entreat God by praying, fasting, and doing acts of charity to ward off this pandemic. People should implore God in supplication to relieve the world of this infliction, to inspire scientists to discover a medicine for this disease, and to save the world from the health, economic, and humanitarian consequences resulting from the outbreak of this serious epidemic.

The HCHF invites the believers of all religions to make Thursday, May 14 an international day of prayers for the sake of humanity. The committee calls on religious leaders and multitudes of people around the world to respond to this human call and to beseech God collectively to safeguard humanity. We implore God to help us overcome this pandemic, to restore security, stability, health, and prosperity so that our world may become, after this pandemic, a better place for humanity and fraternity to live in.

It is worth mentioning here that the HCHF was established by a decision from Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the sponsor of the Human Fraternity Document (HFD) to achieve its objectives. The HCHF now includes eleven members from UAE, Spain, Italy, Egypt, America, Britain, Bulgaria, and Liberia. It was established to apply the principles and values stipulated by the HFD. The SCHF is the spiritual leadership that endeavors to achieve the HFD’s objectives and promote its values effectively through communication among religions and their teachings. The SCHF disseminates the principles of mutual respect, understanding, and communication by urging the leaders and renowned figures around the world to achieve these common objectives.

The HCHF strives to establish the values of peaceful coexistence among the world nations, regardless of their nationality or religion through implementing and taking care of the HFD's aspirations. The HCHF also holds meetings with the religious leaders, the heads of international organizations, and other leaders to adopt the initiatives that are hoped to lead to promoting peace among the world nations.
