On the sidelines of the Fourth International Scientific Conference ...

On the sidelines of the Fourth International Scientific Conference at the Asyūṭ-based Arabic Language Faculty, Al-Saidi and students of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences for Foreign Students visit the museum of the Faulty of Science in Asyūṭ


As a part of the activities of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Arabic Language in Asyūṭ, the Faculty of Science in Asyūṭ organized a field visit for Prof. Nahla Al-Saidi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences for Foreign Students (FISFS) to the museum of the faculty of science in Asyūṭ. During the visit, Prof. Al-Saidi was accompanied by Prof. Alaa Gad Al Kariem, Dean of the Faculty of Science in Asyūṭ, Prof. Essam Farouq, Vice Dean of the FISFS for Post-Graduate Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Ragab, Head of the Student Care Unit at the Center of Education Development for Envoys and Foreign Students, Mr. Musab Faragallah, Chairman of the Foreign Students Parliament, and a delegation of FISFS students. The visit aimed at spreading cultural and educational awareness. "The museum is of great importance for preserving biological diversity. It is an important reference for students learning about endangered species," noted Al-Saidi. "The museum draws inspiration from the past, contributing to the interpretation of it, and linking it to the present," she added. The students explored the museum’s contents and got themselves familiar with the animals mummified therein several years ago. They highlighted the importance of this visit and the value of the scientific information they have obtained.
