Prof. Mohammed Abu Zaid Al-Amir, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Lower Egypt and Prof. Hamed Abu Taleb, member of the Islamic Research Academy, paid a visit to the Imam At-Tayyeb School. They were received by Prof. Nahla Al-Saidi, Head of the Center of Education Development for Envoys and Foreign Students (CEDEFS) and Dean of Al-Azhar Faculty of Islamic Sciences for Foreign Students. During the visit, Al-Amir and Abu Taleb inspected the classrooms and communicated with the students, who expressed their gratitude for having such a great edifice and distinguished school that allows them to learn, recite, and study the Qur’an recitation rulings. The students extended thanks to His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb for offering foreign students diverse means of education, and supporting them morally and financially so that they can recite, memorize, and study the Qur’an perfectly. The students affirmed that their primary goal of joining Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif is to memorize the Qur’an and to study the sciences of Shari’ah and the Arabic language.
"Now, this school can produce a distinguished generation of memorizers of the Book of Allah. The key feature of this school is that it embraces students from all over the world to study the sublime scripture, the Book of Allah Almighty," said Al-Amir.
"The school is a new achievement of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif. It is a fruit of the concerted efforts and sincerity of Al Azhar staff. He also praised the efforts of the school officials, adding that the school is a genuine basis for dissemination of values of tolerance and peace around the world, through its graduates who come from different countries," noted Abu Taleb.
In conclusion of their visits, Al-Amir and Abu Taleb thanked Prof. Nahla Al-Saidi, CEDEFS Head, for her perseverance and ceaseless efforts to ensure the success of the school and overcome all obstacles to this advanced model Qur’an memorization schools.
