Al-Azhar Grand Imam receives the delegation of the Episcopal Church to congratulate his Eminence on ‛Eid ul-Fiṭr

       On Sunday, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb receiveda delegation from the Episcopal Church, headed by Archbishop Mounir Hanna, Head of the Episcopal Church in Egypt, North Africa and the Horn of Africa, to congratulate His Eminence on the occasion of the upcoming ‛Eid ul Fiṭr.

       The Grand Imam expressed his pleasure with the congratulations of the symbols of the Episcopal Church. His Eminence added that the exchange of congratulations, visits and respect among the brothers in the homeland confirms that the Egyptians are united by the spirit of affection, mercy, fraternity and peace. He called on God to that such good days return to all people with good, fortune and blessings.

       On his part, Archbishop Mounir Hanna and the senior priests of the Episcopal Church congratulated the Grand Imam on the occasion of the upcoming ‛Eid ul-Fiṭr. He also wished him and every Muslim a long lifetime of health and wellness, stressing that Al-Azhar is a successful national model in all fields and that His Eminence’s patriotic stances are to be followed by everyone.
