Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its Grand Imam, Prof Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb extend their sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and First Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, the Minister of Defense and Military Production, members of the Armed Forces, leaders, officers and soldiers, and all the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Tenth of Ramadan.
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif asserts that in that battle the brave soldiers of our army have given, the finest examples of heroism and sacrifice to liberate the land and restore the dignity to Egypt and the Egyptians. He also confirmed that the Egyptian army is the shield of the nation and its sword, defends its land during wartime, and contributes to its rise and prosperity in peacetime.
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif calls upon the masses of the Egyptian people to be inspired by the spirit of victory on the Tenth of Ramadan and to work with sincerity and devotion for the sake of the glory and prosperity of our dear Egypt. He asked Almighty Allah that such a pleasant occasion return to our precious Egypt with more progress, prosperity, security and stability, and called upon Him to protect Egypt from all evil and harm.
