His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb, Chariman of the Council of Muslim Elders, exchanged greetings with his Highness Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

     On his part, His Highness Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed expressed appreciation of the United Arab Emirates for Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its Grand Imam, as well as for the efforts exerted by Al-Azhar to promote the values of tolerance and peace.
