His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb, decided to double the monthly pay for Zakat beneficiaries from the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House during the month of Ramadan. The total expenditure will reach 89 million Egyptian pounds, distributed among 85 thousand beneficiaries instead of the Ramadan foodstuff bag, as of Saturday, May 4, 2019. This comes within the framework of the Grand Imam's material and moral care and support for poor and needy families, and his constant concern provide for covering their needs and sharing their concerns.
