During their meeting with the Grand Imam, members of the Egyptian Forum for Sustainable Development, "We appreciate the efforts of Al-Azhar to promote peace and enhance the culture of dialogue".

     Today, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Prof. Ahmed  Aṭ-Ṭayyeb received members of the Egyptian Forum for Sustainable Development (EFSD).

     At the beginning of the meeting, the Grand Imam welcomed the EFSD members at Al-Azhar Headquarters, expressing his appreciation of their efforts in raising awareness and enhancing sustainable development in Egypt. He also pointed out that following the teachings of Islam in dealing with natural resources is the best way to achieve sustainable development.

     On their part, members of the EFSD expressed their pride in the person of the Grand Imam, and their appreciation of the great and tangible efforts exerted by Al-Azhar to promote world peace and enhance the culture of dialogue. They also showed their aspiration to cooperate with the various sectors of Al-Azhar in the field of sustainable development.
