On Monday morning, His Eminence Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, during his visit to Cairo.

     The talk was about the Arab firm attitude on the rejection of all resolutions that affect the constants of the Palestinian cause or contradict international references.

     Sheikh Khalid Al-Khalifa explained that Al-Azhar is playing a central role in this stage, which is meant to preserve Arab awareness and confront the attempts to divert attention from the rights and constant facts of the Nation.

     On his part, the Grand Imam said, "The Arab peoples still rely on unity, integration and common Arab action to overcome the challenges and problems they face, especially the Palestinian cause, affirming full support of Al-Azhar for the Palestinian people until they gain all their rights. He also stressed Al-Azhar rejection of the unjust resolutions which seek to liquidate and end the Palestinian cause.
