Commenting on burning 11 Cameroonians to death by Boko Haram, the Grand Imam, "This group is stripped of all the sense of humanity and mercy".

His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb, made a tweet published on the official account of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif on Twitter and Facebook. He noted that the Nigerian Boko Haram Group was stripped of all the sense of humanity and mercy. “I don’t find words to express how upset and sad I am today,” he added. His Eminence called for everyone to pray for a world free of bloodshed and terrorism. The Nigerian Boko Haram Group launched a terrorist attack, last Thursday evening, on the town of Chakamari in the city of Mora, at the far north of Cameroon. They burned the houses of the town, killing 11 people in the fire.
