The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar congratulates the Arab and Muslim nations on the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday

     Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, represented in its Grand Imam, extends sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattāḥ El-Sῑsῑ of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Egyptian people, and the Muslims all around the world on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday.

     The Grand Imam confirms that the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday is a collection of fragrant memories, representing the link in illuminating the earth with the light of the Heaven. It is celebrated by nearly one billion and a third people in the East and the West, worthy of respect and reverence throughout ages.

     On this glorious occasion, the Grand Imam calls on the Muslims around the world to follow the example of the Noble Prophet and draw inspiration from the great lessons and the human values embodied in his noble prophetic biography.
