The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar denounces describing the Muslims as terrorists, depicting it as “a maze in which many people are trapped”.

     The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Aṭ-Ṭayyeb, denounced the claim that “Muslims are terrorists!”. He affirmed that it is a maze in which many people are trapped, including some Muslims".

     His Eminence explained in a tweet on his official pages on the two social network sites (Facebook and Twitter) that the fact admitted by reality, history and free conscience is that Muslims are builders of civilizations wherever they may be, even in the heart of Europe. He added that Muslims are now victims of the policy of double standards adopted by some countries.
