On the World Health Day, Al-Azhar expresses deep appreciation for the entire medical staff

     On April 7th each year, the world commemorates the anniversary of founding the World Health Organization (WHO), which has announced that the theme of this year’s celebration is ‘The Nursing Staff Work’.

     On this occasion, Al-Azhar expresses deep gratitude for all the doctors, nurses, and medics employed in the field of health care. Al-Azhar appreciates the efforts and sacrifices they make while endangering their own lives for the sake of maintaining the safety of all human beings.

     Al-Azhar also announces its solidarity with all the workers of the medical staff and emphasizes its support for the vital role they play in facing the coronavirus (COVID-19) threats. Al-Azhar calls on all countries and organizations to support them to safeguard humanity from the dangers of this pandemic.
