Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif condemns, in the strongest terms, the two terrorist attacks that took place near Kabul Airport in the Afghani capital today, Thursday, which left dozens dead and injured.

     Al-Azhar affirms its full support for the brotherly Afghani people in their great affliction, asking Allah Almighty to grant security and safety to the oppressed people, shower them with peace and stability, and safeguard Afghanistan against all harms and evils.

     His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif also expresses sympathy with, and extends sincere condolences to, the Afghani people for the victims of the two terrorist bombings, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy and forgiveness on the victims, to lend patience and solace to their families, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery: “Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return".
