Can the Muslim substitute the listening to Surat Al-Kahf with the reciting on Friday?

Can the Muslim substitute the listening to Surat Al-Kahf with the reciting on Friday?

It is Sunnah to recite Surat Al-Kahf on Friday and at its night. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next.” [Narrated by Al-Hakim in Al-Mustadrak]

The time of reciting Surat Al-Kahf begins from sunset on Thursday to sunset on Friday.

Whoever is illiterate (cannot read) and will listen to it instead, seeking the reward, he would obtain this reward. Because the scholars stated that 'al-Maysur la Yasqutu bi-al-Ma'sur', (the difficult part of an act does not discount the part that is easy).

With regard to the literate person  (who can read), he ought to recite it. It is not sufficient to listen to it, because the reward is for reciting not for listening.

Perhaps the wisdom of mentioning the virtue of reciting Surat Al-Kahf every week is that it provides many lessons and includes many examples that every Muslim should learn.
