Is it permissible to leave a will to bury a copy of the Holy Qur’an with me in my shroud in order to protect me from the punishment of Allah?

     According to Sharia, we must honor the Holy Qur’an and put it only in the highest and greatest places.

Thus, it is not permissible to bury a copy of the Holy Qur’an with a dead person because this shows disrespect.

Some scholars stated that it is not permissible to write anything on the shroud from the Holy Qur’an, e.g. Surat Ya-Sin, Al-Kahf, or even glorified names in order to keep them away from the pus of the dead.
