My father borrowed a sum of money in order to fund a tuk -tuk project to increase our income. Then, we paid off the loan, but this small project failed and we sold this vehicle at a very low price. Now, my father is dead, and I know that my father was not aware of the religious ruling on loans. So, I would like to know what I should do to atone for his sin and purify him before he stands before Allah for reckoning.

You can give money to charity on behalf of your father, and pray for him as much as you can.
