An employee had achieved a job for me, so I gave him a gift, what is the ruling?

Someone asks, “An employee had achieved a job for me, so I gave him a gift, what is the ruling?”

The answer:

All praise is due to Allah. May His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.

In fact, what you called a gift is a bribe, and the gifts given to employees because of their positions are bribes forbidden by sharia.  You are not allowed to do that, nor are the employees allowed to accept such a bribe because it is given to them because of the authority they acquire from their positions.

The Prophet (PBUH) employed Ibn Al-Utbiyyah to collect Zakah from Bani Sulaim. When he returned to Allah's Messenger (PBUH), he said, “This money is yours, and this has been given to me as a gift.” Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "Why don't you stay at your father's or your mother's home to see whether you will be given gifts or not, if you are telling the truth?" Then Allah's Messenger (PBUH) stood up to address the people. After praising and extolling Allah, he said, “What is the matter with a man whom I employ for one of the jobs Allah has placed in my charge, and then he comes and says, “This is your money and this is a gift given to me.” Why did he not stay at his father’s or his mother’s home and see whether he would be given gifts or not? By Allah, whoever takes anything wrongfully, he will come carrying it before Allah on the Day of Resurrection! (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
