The gold you own has reached the Niṣāb (the minimum amount on which zakat is imposed). Thus, if a lunar year has passed and you still own it, then Zakah must be paid.

     The amount that must be given as Zakah is one-fourth of a tenth (i.e., 2.5%) for each previous year as long as it is equal to or more than the Niṣāb. The Niṣāb is eighty-five grams of gold, and you have 104 grams of gold.
