AIRA: Awareness Programs, Scientific Committees, Community Participations and Ongoing Activities for Foreign Students

During the last week, Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) declared several activities within its daily awareness plan which interacts directly with people and touches their evolving learning needs.

In the context of caring for foreign students, AIRA has started implementing the program of "Exam Night Revision" for foreign students in Islamic Mission Cities. This is considered a part of activities which are offered to the students to enhance their levels in different curricula through the participation of specialist Azhari professors in such curricula.

On the level of scientific publications, AIRA announced that the new issue of Al-Azhar magazine of the month of Jumada I highlights a number of important issues and topics that are closely related to the reality of people and sheds light on the views and position Sharia regarding these issues. The issue is headed by the speech of the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh Al-Azhar, delivered at the "Interfaith Alliance forum for Child Dignity in a Digital World".

As part of its awareness role, the Academy launched a campaign to Aswan governorate in which Al-Azhar preachers participated to carry out a series of awareness programs and direct communication with people, meet their cognitive needs, and respond to their queries.

As for the work of the scientific committees of the Academy, the Heritage Revival Committee held its monthly meeting, at the newly restored headquarters of the Academy in Nasr City, to discuss several important topics in its periodic sessions, most notably the New Year's Action Plan.
