In the 7th episode of his program “Toward Proper Understanding,” the Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy (AIRA), Dr. Nazir Ayyad discussed some of the fallacies that atheists adhere to, at present and in the past.
He began with the fallacy that the world existed by chance.
He said that coincidence generally and customarily means a meeting between two things or two people without an arrangement, but when it comes to religion, creation or the universe, it becomes a dangerous matter as it will mean in this aspect the denial that the world has a Creator and Maker.
Ayyad added that when we use the language of reason rather than Shari’a, then the claim that the world is created by chance is not supported by evidence. All minds unanimously agree that a created thing must have a creator, and this refutes their claim about the concept of coincidence. In addition, the law of coincidence and the minds of those who claim it are characterized by contradiction.
The Secretary-General explained that the perceived reality makes us fully aware that nothing moves, goes back, or forth without a stimulator, and only a stubborn or arrogant person denies this.
Our real world is conclusive evidence that Allah Almighty exists because He is the Creator of the universe.
Ayyad pointed out that when we look at the system that controls the entire universe in absolute precision, it makes the mind believe that this wonderful system must have Someone who organizes and preserves it.
