Atheism Eliminates Human Conscience and Leads to Selfishness and Individualism

Atheism Eliminates Human Conscience and Leads to Selfishness and Individualism, said AIRA Secretary-General

In the 16th episode of his program “Toward Proper Understanding”, broadcast on the AIRA official webpage, AIRA Secretary-General, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, keeps on refuting some fallacies by which some atheists deny the existence of Allah Almighty. In today's episode, he discussed the bad effects of atheistic thought on society.

The Secretary-General said that atheism is a dangerous phenomenon that negatively affects the person and the society in many ways, such as eliminating the human conscience. He showed that man’s pure instinct or conscience is one of Almighty Allah's blessings upon us that drives to goodness and calls for it, and warns against evil and repels it.

He added that what atheists and skeptics call for destroys the pure instinct, which is regarded as a divine light inside man, warning him of approaching sins or committing them.

The Secretary-General indicated that the negative impacts include selfishness and individualism, which destroy the bonds of affection and love between members of society.

Atheism views life from a materialistic perspective based mainly on personal interests and individual desires without consideration for any outcomes that may affect individuals and societies.

Finally, the Secretary-General explained that an atheist views morals as a relative issue, which is very dangerous, because it leads to considering that moral values are equal to benefits, whereas moral values are unchangeable in all religions.
