Constructive Criticism Key Strategy to Confront Atheism, said AIRA Secretary-General
In the 18th episode of his program “Toward Proper Understanding”, broadcast on the AIRA official webpage, AIRA Secretary-General, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, continues his talk about atheism. In today’s episode, he discusses ways to confront atheistic thought and means of eliminating it.
The Secretary-General said that one of the key strategies for confronting atheistic thought is constructive criticism of the atheistic school. Scholars should properly practice objective, just, balanced and constructive criticism to eliminate this phenomenon in a scientific and logical way.
To achieve its goals, criticism must rely on the following: conscious reading of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the scholars’ opinion; full and complete knowledge of the Sunni school, especially the doctrinal aspects; and objectivity, Ayyad added.
