Atheism Leads to Self-Distrust, Lack of Conscience, and Spread of Crime

Atheism Leads to Self-Distrust, Lack of Conscience, and Spread of Crime

Atheism Leads to Self-Distrust, Lack of Conscience, and Spread of Crime , said AIRA Secretary-General

In the 22st episode of his program “Toward Proper Understanding”, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy (AIRA), Dr. Nazir Ayyad, keeps on discussing the dangers of atheism, which may devastate everything.

The Secretary-General said that risks that arise from atheism do not affect only individuals but also the whole society.  This could be confirmed through several  issues, most notably:  raising doubts about the principles and fundamentals of religion so that man gets confused about those principles and fundamentals.

Ayyad added that among the dangers of atheism is the denial of the existence of Allah - Blessed and Exalted Be He – which is considered the main principle of faith. If man believes that this world has a creator, he can believe in the rest of the faith pillars.

As the absence of this principle leads man to commit sins and prohibitions without scruple or fear of Allah, and thus society becomes a lustful one wherein the beliefs of atheism dominate.

Finally, the Secretary-General clarified that one of the dangers that arise from atheism is self-distrust, which appears clearly in the person’s view of himself and the others and his relation with his Lord. This leads to the absence of  self-censorship and conscience.
