AIRA Celebrates Release of Al-Azhar’s Female Preachers

     Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) held a ceremony at Al-Azhar Conference Center (ACC) in celebration of the release of Al-Azhar’s Female Preachers magazine, which is issued as a supplement of Al-Azhar Magazine. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of AIRA, the Secretary General of Al-Azhar Council of Senior Scholars, the Head of Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, the former Deputy of Al-Azhar, the Assistant Secretary General for Da‘wah and Religious Media, the Assistant Secretary General for Female Preachers’ Affairs, a number of Al-Azhar University deans, and directors of preaching zones across Egypt, in addition to  Al-Azhar’s female preachers.

     The attendees talked about the experience of Al-Azhar Female Preachers magazine as a nascent experience and its role in handling issues related to women's affairs in society. They also highlighted the services provided through the magazine and the opinion articles discussing many current issues. The attendees highly praised the success of the new experiment once it was launched, stressing the importance of this product in raising the awareness of the family and discussing its affairs.

     The ceremony also witnessed a series of activities, including poetry recitation and Islamic carols by Al-Azhar female students. On the sidelines of the ceremony, participants in the production of the magazine were honored by Al-Azhar female preachers.
