Ismailia Preaching Concludes the Second Phase of the Program “Role Models and Leadership”

     In cooperation with Suez Canal University, the Ismailia Preaching Zone concluded the university student program “Role Models and Leadership” in the presence of Dr. Saeed Amer, Assistant Secretary-General of Da`wah and Religious Media at the Islamic Research Academy. The event was also attended by the Vice President of Suez Canal University, a number of university leaders, and some figures from Al-Azhar Zone and the Preaching Zone.

     During his speech, Amer asserted that the program, which was implemented according to the directives of the Grand Imam and the supervision of the Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, comes in full coordination and continuous cooperation between the Preaching Zone and the executive and religious authorities of the governorate. All of this aims to develop Da`wah activities and to reach the audience of different intellectual and age segments, especially the youth in order to raise their awareness of contemporary societal issues.

     The Assistant Secretary-General of Da`wah added that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is seeking full cooperation with all the Egyptian and foreign institutions in order to correct misconceptions, consolidate the concept of ethics and societal values, and to build an Egyptian character aware of the challenges that face the nation.

     Amer stated that Al-Azhar male and female preachers are working constantly to spread moral and societal values, and to develop the spirit of belonging to the homeland, solidarity with people and communication with the youth through their presence in the cities and villages of the Republic.
