AIRA Organizes a Book Fair at the Faculty of Arabic in Assiut
AIRA Book Fair Activities at the Faculty of Arabic in Assiut have been launched in coincidence with the fifth scientific conference held there under the title “The Philosophical Principles of Humanities - Past & Present” in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Islamic Research Academy (IRA).
“Holding such a book fair, for the first time, at the Upper Egypt branch of Al-Azhar University comes within the Academy’s interest in spreading Al-Azhar’s scientific and informative message. It also comes in accordance with the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb’s directives to make every effort to keep raising the awareness of Al-Azhar students,” said Dr. Nazeer ˁAyyād.
ˁAyyād added that the publications of the Academy presented at this book fair combine authenticity and modernity, and present practical solutions to many tricky societal issues. They also refute many of the raised intellectual fallacies in a clear scientific methodology. Furthermore, these publications cover various scientific fields, such as Islamic thought, Creed, Interpretation of the Qur’an, Hadith and language.
