Da’wa material for the Campaign of “Sound Instinct and Upright Society”

Da’wa material for the Campaign of “Sound Instinct and Upright Society”

The Noble Qur’an addresses the sound natural intuition of man in a way that protects it from defects. In many of its verses, the Qur'an refers to this fact so that people may realize it, and not deviate from it. Allah Almighty says, "So direct your face toward religion, inclining to the truth— the intuition upon which Allah has created all people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most people do not know" (Qur’an, 30: 30).

Homosexuality is against the natural instinct, and the Noble Qur’an mentions the story of the people of LūT (Lot) in many verses as a lesson for people of understanding. Furthermore, the Qur'an addresses people with what protects their natural instinct, and directs them to marriage, confirming that it is between a male and a female. It is one of Allah's signs that we should contemplate and for which we should thank Allah. Allah says, "And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for people who contemplate" (Qur’an, 30: 21).

Prophet Muḥammad (PBUH) directed young people to what preserves their nature and safeguards them against deviation. He (PBUH) said, "O young people! Those among you, who can support a wife, should marry, but those who cannot afford it, should fast, as fasting diminishes sexual power" (Sahih al-Bukhari).

Violating natural instinct is one of Satan's footsteps to destroy man, whom he has taken as an enemy since the creation of Adam (PBUH). The Nobel Qur’an warns man against Satan; Allah Almighty says, "Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze" (Qur’an, 35: 6).
