The Media Center of Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) has issued its second report for AIRA harvest in the field of Da'wah during 2021 AD. This report revealed the implementation of a number of field and electronic campaigns that targeted a number of important da'wah and awareness-raising themes for members of the Egyptian society, which support the plan of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in the da'wah aspect and contribute to achieving the Egyptian state's strategy for building enlightened intellectual awareness.

Dr. Nazir Ayyad, the AIRA Secretary General, said, "The year 2021 witnessed remarkable da'wah activity by Al-Azhar male and female preachers in the various governorates of Egypt within the directives of the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad El-Tayyeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, to intensify da'wah meetings and mix with people in their locations. Accordingly, thousands of meetings and daily direct and electronic activities have been held and undertaken to serve the general strategy of Al-Azhar and achieve its message at the local level."

Ayyad showed that AIRA had held 719,899 da'wah meetings at: youth centers, culture palaces, care homes, hospitals, schools, institutes, companies, cafes, police stations, central security sectors and prisons, in addition to Friday sermons by Al-Azhar preachers.

The AIRA Secretary General indicated that those meetings included about 40,000 symposiums, and more than 32,000 women’s classes. He also pointed out that during the year 2021 AD, AIRA had uploaded 216,797 posts onto its social media platforms, all of which aimed to handle contemporary issues. In addition, they aimed to protect people of all categories and ages from any intellectual invasion that deviates them from the right path that takes into account the general interest of all and establishes all the meanings of cooperation, solidarity and joint responsibility.
