The Secretary General of the Islamic Research Academy (AIRA), Dr. Nazir Ayad said that as a result of the recent developments in Ukraine and according to the directives of the Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, we contact with Al-Azhar mission in Ukraine daily to check on them and take care of their affairs. In addition, there is special communication with the Egyptian authorities to make sure its members are safe and to coordinate their work plan in a way that ensures their safety.
It is worth noting that Al-Azhar missions worldwide exert efforts in various Dawah and educational activities to achieve the global message of Al-Azhar, spread its moderate vision and confront all deviant and extremist ideas.
