AIRA Al-Quds Committee Condemns Violations of Zionist Terrorism Against Palestinians and Al-Aqsa Mosque
In a clear statement, Al-Quds and Dialogue Committee at Al-Azhar Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) condemned the blatant violations of the Zionist entity against defenseless Palestinians and Al-Aqsa Mosque after the military occupation forces stormed the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Stripped of all meanings of humanity, the brutal forces prevented ambulances from reaching the injured, which reveals the reality of the brutal terrorism of this extortionist entity.
In this concern, the committee emphasized that the violence, committed by the Zionist entity forces during the blessed month of Ramadan and during the worshipers’ performance of the rituals of this holy month, is a criminal act that the free world should face instead of being silent and using double standard. They did not have any regard for the sanctity of worship or the sanctity of time and place. Assaulting people worshiping is criminalized by all laws. Allah - Glory be to Him – says, {Who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction} (Qur’an, 2: 114).
Finally, the committee also announced its full solidarity with defenseless Palestinian people in the face of this Zionist tyranny, calling for stopping these provocative practices against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan in particular and the other months in general. These violations recur every year at the same time.
Moreover, the committee stressed that such desperate attempts to dominate the land, intimidate people and violate the sanctities to change the identity of the Palestinian state will not succeed. This occupation will end and Al-Quds Al-Sharif will regain its Arab identity.
The committee also extends its sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying to Allah -Almighty- to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
