His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayeb extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Arab kings, presidents and princes, and Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, praying to Allah, the Almighty, to return such auspicious occasion on the Islamic and Arab nations with goodness, peace, security and stability.
Furthermore, the Grand Imam calls upon all Muslims worldwide not to forget their vulnerable brothers in Palestine and Sudan as well as Rohingya Muslims and all the oppressed people around the world. He further urged Muslims to designate a portion of their Zakat and to offer prayer to people of Gaza and to invoke Allah to grant them victory over their enemies, to strengthen their resolve and to protect their land and homeland.
