Al-Azhar Observer Condemns the Two Terror Blasts That Hit As-Salam Masjid in Al-Harm and St Mark’s Coptic Cathedral in Abbasiyya

Al-Azhar Observer in Foreign Languages strongly condemns the two terror blasts that hit As-Salam Masjid in Al-Harm district and St Mark’s Coptic Cathedral in Abbasiyya district, respectively, and which resulted in the killing of a dozen of innocent people and the injury of many others. In this regard, Al-Azhar Observer wonders how barbarian and merciless these terrorists are to attack houses of worship while celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the mercy sent form Allah to mankind.

Strongly condemning these brutal terror attacks, the Observer stress that whoever commits these crimes is a barbarian blood-shedder who is certainly a loser in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. In the same connection, the Observer affirms that there is no legal excuse for the killing of the innocent, irrespective of their religions, creeds or ideologies, for Allah, the Almighty, does not grant anyone the right to take the life of others without a legal justification.

In this respect, Al-Azhar Observer offers its solace for the families of the dead and the injured, asking Allah, the Almighty, to grant them patience and hoping speedy recovery for the injured.
