Cairo is to host, next Saturday, the coming meeting of Muslim Council of Elders, which will be headed by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, to discuss recent developments on the Arab and Islamic arena.
Following the notable success achieved by the first group of the Muslim Global Peace Emissaries delegated to USA, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Central Africa, South Africa, Chad, Indonesia, and Pakistan, the Council is set to discuss the current preparations to launch the second group of Global Peace Emissaries to various countries all-over the world for purpose of correcting misconception and promoting peace and co-existence.
The Muslim Council of Elders has been established last year in July, to promote peace in Muslim countries, defuse tensions and remove causes of conflicts that have been increasingly threatening many Muslim communities, and to avoid divisions and struggles.
Headed by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb, Muslim Council of Elders is comprised of a group of Muslim scholars and experts  who all share wisdom, justice independence and moderation.
