Afifi: We're ready to receive Muslims' queries from all over the world

Dr. Mohie Ed-deen Afifi, the secretary-general of the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Islamic Research Academy (AIRA), said that Al-Azhar was keen on serving Muslims around the world and fulfilling their religious needs.

The Secretary-general also said that out of Al-Azhar's international role in terms of clarifying the true message of Islam, AIRA opens a communication channel with Muslims around the world to learn about their religion from a tolerant and moderate perspective rather than extremist and ignorant one.

Therefore, AIRA will receive all fatwa requests from all Muslims around the world through our newly-launched online service "Ask for Fatwa". "Ask for Fatwa" service is launched to help Muslims around the world learn about the religious opinion on different matters and problems. Fatwa requests will be replied by specialized scholars in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Official Fatwa Committee.

Afifi stressed that AIRA would receive fatwa requests on the following website: http://www.azhar.eg/en/fatwa
