Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Condemns the Burning of a Palestinian Infant by the Jewish Settlers in Nablus

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its Grand Imam Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyeb condemn the awful crime committed by the Jewish settlers in arson attack on the houses of two Palestinians in the village of Duma in Nablus; a matter that caused the murder of a Palestinian infant and the serious injury of three members of his family.

In this regard, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif says that such a barbarian crime, among many others, would not be committed without the blessing of the Zionist occupation authorities, which provoke to commit more and more crimes against the unarmed civilians of Palestine.

Even though Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expresses its absolute refusal to such atrocities, it, meanwhile, condemns and expresses its sorrow for the International Community and the Human Rights Watch organizations' complete silence on the crimes committed against the Palestinians; crimes which are against all Heavenly-Revealed Religions and the international constitutions and laws.

Meanwhile, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif warns of the continuity of the double-standard policy and the non-existence of an immediate and urgent solution that guarantees the rights of the Palestinians in the establishment of their Independent State with Holy Jerusalem as its capital, demanding an international and Arab urgent movement to protect the people of Palestine from the arrogance of the Zionist occupation.
