Al-Azhar confirms that history will commemorate his dedication, historical stances, and boldness towards the issues of the Islamic and Arab nations. No Muslim or an Arab can forget his diplomatic wisdom and experience that contributed to the progress and prosperity of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the support and stability of the Islamic and Arab worlds. The Egyptian nation cannot forget his historical stances towards Egypt.
Meanwhile, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif sends sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, all members of Saud's family and the brotherly Saudi people, asking Allah the Almighty to shower him with His mercy and forgiveness, make his eternal abode in His spacious paradise, and keep the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic and Arab nations from all evil.
