Al-Azhar condemns the terrorist attack on a hotel in the Tunisian city of Sousse asserting that it is an offensive crime which violates all divine laws, religions and human conventions.

Al-Azhar and its Grand Imam Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al Tayyeb condemn the criminal attack on a hotel in Sousse city which resulted in victims and injuries, mostly of foreigners.

Al-Azhar assures that this offensive crime against innocent and peaceful people violates all divine laws, religions and human conventions and necessitates our solidarity to face this malignant terrorism which takes innocent souls without any offense.

Al-Azhar stresses on tracing these terrorist groups for its crimes against humanity and promptly referring them to trial. Al-Azhar offers condolence to all Tunisians; as leadership, government and people. It also expresses condolence to families of the victims invoking Allah that He may bring them patience and consolation and speedy recovery for injured people.
