Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Islamic Research Academy (AIRA) delegates groups of preachers to the governorates of Damietta and Fayoum for two days. The delegation consists of a number of AIRA senior preachers.
Dr. Mohie Ed-deen Afifi, the Secretary- General secretary of the Islamic Research Academy (AIRA), said that AIRA preaching missions are in the framework of consolidating effort to spread moderate Islam in the Egyptian governorates, clearing misconception about Islam and discussing contemporary issues that occupies the minds of the public as a result of the actions of terrorist groups that threaten stability and societal security. This requires countering extremism and violence, promoting religious spirit and patriotism as well as the culture of peaceful coexistence and societal security.
