The President of Al-Azhar University directs Sessions of The International Islamic Conference

Makkah, Jumada I 04, 1436, February 23, 2015, SPA -- The International Islamic Conference, which started in Makkah yesterday under the theme "Islam and Fighting of Terrorism", resumed its sessions at the Muslim World League (MWL)headquarters in Makkah today.
In the first of three sessions of today, which was directed by the President of Al-Azhar University Dr. Abdul-hae Abdul-All Azab, a number of key speakers, including Dr. Nooruddin Al-Khadmi, Tunisia's former Religious Affairs minister; Dr. Mustafa Ibrahim Cherch, member of MWL from Bosnia and Herzegovina; Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Abbadi, Deputy President of the International Islamic Jurisprudence Complex in Jeddah; Dr. Isam Ahmed Al-Bashier, President of Sudan's Islamic Jurisprudence Complex, tackled ignorance of the objectives of Sharia and its rules, sectarian fanatisism and mistakes of orchestrating important Islamic concepts.
In the second and third sessions, which was instructed by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hilayel, Chief Judge of Jordan, Dr. Subaib Abdulghaffar Chairman of the Quran Association in London; Dr. Rudwan Al-Sayed, Chairman of the High Institute for Islamic Studies in Lebanon; and Dr. Ibrahim Norain Ibrahim, the Principal of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences University in Sudan, delivered their papers.
They spoke about the lack to impose Islamic Sharia, the blessings of applying Sharia law, the weakness of call institutions, and the Islamic religious address to confront the current challenges.
