The second aid convoy from Al-Azhar is on its way to Gaza.
Al-Azhar has prepared a second 80-ton aid convoy that is expected to reach Gaza by Thursday.
Earlier this month, another medical convoy worth 3 million EGP ($420,000) departed from Al-Azhar headed by Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Preaching Mohamed Zaki, his assistant Saaed Amer and Al-Azhar convoy official Mohamed al-Abd, as per the request of Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayeb.
