His Eminence Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and President of the Muslim Council of Elders, Tuesday witnesses the events of the 1st Forum of Alliance of Religions for Community Security held in Abu Dhabi under the title of “Children’s Dignity in the Digital Word.”
The Grand Imam will deliver the keynote speech at the opening session of the global Forum, which is held at the Exhibition Center and Wahat Al-Karamah of Abu Dhabi, in parallel with World Children's Day. The Forum will be attended by a number of world religious leaders and senior UAE officials.
Al-Tayyeb arrived Monday in Abu Dhabi where he was received by Eng. Uwaidah Murshid Al Marar, Head of Energy Department in Abu Dhabi; Dr. Mohammad Matar Al Kaabi, Chairman of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Authority; Dr. Sultan Faisal Al Rumaithi, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders; and Major General Khalifa Hareb Al-Khaili, Deputy Minister of the Interior.
