Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Condemns the Bomb Blast in Nasr City

  Al-Azhar Al-Sharif strongly condemns the blast targeted a Coptic Church in the vicinity of Al-Hajjanah, Nasr City, which caused one police officer, Mustafa Obeid, to fell a martyr and two others to be injured.
In this context, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif stresses that targeting Houses of Worship and killing the innocent are but sinful criminal acts opposing the teachings of the pure Islamic religion and other religions that all call for protecting, showing respect for and defending Houses of Worship, stating clearly that it categorically supported all the State’s institutions in their confrontation against this malice terrorism that attempts to corrupt our Christian brothers’ celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH).
Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, in this regard, offers its sincere solace to the family of Mr. Mustafa Obeid, martyr of national duty, asking Allah, the Almighty, to shower him with His Infinite Mercy and to enable his family to have patience and to grant speedy recovery for the injured.
