Al-Azhar condemns the Terrorist Attack on a Mosque in Nigeria

     Al-Azhar Al-Sharif condemns the terrorist attack carried out by suicide attackers on a Mosque in Maiduguri, north-Eastern Nigeria, killing 11 and injuring 15. Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expressed its total rejection of this criminal action, which is considered a grave violation to one of the houses of worship and to lives of innocent people in order to serve evil purposes. It also called for more international efforts to end the pandemic of terrorism.
Furthermore, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif extends its condolences to Nigerian President, government, people and the families of the victims, supplicating the Almighty Allah to grant the families of the victims’ patience and give the injured the speedy recovery.
