From time to time, Muslims experience events deliberately targeting their religion and feelings. The last of these is naming the Yeezy shoes after the names of Islamic angels by Kanye West, as the US rapper inaugurated a new sports shoes production line bearing the name of the archangels in Islam.
This action was met with fierce criticism by Muslims all over the word since it makes mockery of Islamic beliefs, which is why many social media followers requested the producing company to change the names of the new production line by kind of showing respect to Muslims and to apologize for such act of mockery.
Al-Azhar Observatory, on its part, strongly condemns this act that proves racism and mockery of the others' religions and beliefs, stressing meanwhile that Islam obliges its followers to show respect for others' beliefs and sacred items.
